Varia would like to share with you the words of Marie Darah
The desire and need to find the right words – words that capture our thoughts and convey our intentions and our commitment – became apparent very quickly as we began planning this new 24-25 season. We know how much words matter; their importance and power are immeasurable. We therefore want them to reflect our contradictions, our boldness, our vulnerabilities, our anger, our enthusiasm and our imagination.
Marie Darah is an actor, writer, slam poet, socio-cultural workshop leader, and a fluid poet who respects all living beings. It became immediately clear to us that we wanted the words for this new journey to be crafted together with them. Thank you, Marie, for accompanying us so generously through this process!
