Audition – role replacement: "What Happens"

Matthew, who is in his thirties, moves through the ages.

Who is this audition for? Anyone who meets the requirements to play the role as described below.

The role is based on a male character named Matthew, who is in his thirties (born in 1999). The role spans different eras and requires, in particular, the portrayal of the same “character” as a child.

The show “Ce qui arrive” is a production whose script is a physical and situational score performed by five actors who play siblings from the same family but who are called upon to represent the inhabitants of a house across time. They embody characters from different eras, including themselves as children.

The production requires familiarity with this type of stage composition as well as great physical agility. This theatrical structure requires the ability to quickly grasp micro-situations. It also involves a number of very precise costume and set changes. It is essential to be comfortable with this type of theatricality.
